CARS™ (CDFI Assessment Rating System)
In 2011, the CDFI or Community Development Financial Institution(s) Assessment Rating System (CARS) completed a full assessment of New Jersey Community Capital’s legacy fund, the Community Loan Fund of New Jersey, Inc. 
CARS is a comprehensive, third-party analysis used to evaluate the performance of CDFIs across the industry developed by Opportunity Finance Network. The program produces high quality, objective, and detailed analyses of a CDFI’s impact performance and financial strength to help guide the investment decisions of subscribers.
