Cara Purcell serves as the Director of Operations for the ReStart Home Preservation Program. She is responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining program processes and procedures, implementing data management solutions, and facilitating coordination between program partners on foreclosure prevention and asset management activities. Cara joined New Jersey Community Capital in May 2011 and has held positions in NJCC’s Lending and Resource Development departments, where her responsibilities included commercial lending and management of the Camden POWER Program and the Gap Funding Initiative. Cara previously spent two years working in the public sector as a land use planner and has served in various research positions.
Cara holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Temple University.
