Cara Purcell is Managing Director of Business Infrastructure at New Jersey Community Capital. She is responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective business infrastructure that supports the organization’s lines of business and strategic priorities through oversight of the human resources, information technology, communications, strategic and social impact, and office management departments. Prior to this role, Cara managed a number of NJCC programs related to foreclosure prevention, non-performing loan asset management, down payment assistance, and disaster housing recovery. Before joining NJCC, Cara worked in the public sector as a land use planner and served in various planning and public policy research positions.
Cara holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning from Temple University.
