Dani Rosen

Director of Operations, Community Asset Preservation Corporation

Dani Rosen serves as the Director of Operations for Community Asset Preservation Corporation (CAPC). She oversees the day-to-day activities of the organization including grant and subsidy contracts, property disposition, organizational growth, and data management.  Dani has overseen the financing, acquisition, rehabilitation, and disposition of all single-family assets with more than 2,300 units acquired and completed in New Jersey, Florida, and New York. Dani is responsible for all homeownership focused programs at NJCC including the annual deployment of $2 million of down payment assistance funds and CAPC’s Real Estate Brokerage which facilitates approximately $15 million in real estate transactions annually.

Dani joined CAPC as a Fellow in February 2013, and served in various roles prior to becoming the Director of Operations in January 2017.  In these roles, she managed the development and execution of CAPC’s marketing and communications, the sale of all single-family properties, and CAPC’s grant and subsidy facilitating the application, deployment, and compliance of municipal, state, and federal subsidies with more than $20 million awarded to date.

Prior to joining CAPC, Dani served as a Development Associate through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. While in graduate school, Dani also was a Community Scholar at NeighborWorks America and a Research Assistant at NYU’s Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy. Dani supported scholarly research and program development centered on homeownership counseling, mobility, and impacts on child academic achievement.

Dani holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Boston College and a master’s degree in Urban Planning from New York University.
