Eva Sumano
Project Manager, Community Strategies
Eva Sumano joined New Jersey Community Capital in March 2023 as a Project Manager in our Community Strategies team. She is responsible for coordinating engagements, data-driven community research and analysis, and supporting clients in developing neighborhood plans and projects.
Before joining New Jersey Community Capital, Eva served as Education Manager at CASA, a powerhouse immigrant-rights organization that works throughout the mid-Atlantic region, where she ran educational programs in two states and led their education policy work forward. Prior to that, Eva was a public school teacher in Baltimore, Maryland.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish and a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
