Jacquea “Jay” Lee serves as the Director of Asset Management. In this role, he oversees a diverse portfolio of over 600 properties in New Jersey and Florida. Mr. Lee is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Community Asset Preservation Corporation “CAPC” Property Management Department and staff, as well as the reporting, coordination, and management of all third-party vendors and agencies, providing rehabilitation services.
Prior to his role at New Jersey Community Capital, Mr. Lee spent nine years in senior management roles for the City of Newark. As the Small Business Development Officer, he spearheaded city-wide initiatives that promoted small business growth including the rollout of an innovative online business portal, allowing businesses to obtain licenses quickly and expeditiously. As Director of Rent Control, he managed the city’s Emergency Rental Assistance program resulted in the disbursement of over $20 million to residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Lee is a Notary Public for New Jersey, a Licensed Realtor, and a member of the National Association of Realtors and the North Central New Jersey Association of Realtors.
