Marc Dashield joined New Jersey Community Capital in December 2021 as a Project Manager in our Community Strategies team. He manages the development of neighborhood and municipal plans and strategies. He conducts data-driven community research and designs engagement activities to develop effective, innovative, and community-driven strategies that improve the lives of residents in underserved communities.
Marc is an experienced public administrator with three decades in local government service. His expertise spans local government service as the Chief Executive or Administrator for the Municipality of Princeton, Montclair Township, and the City of Plainfield. He holds additional certification as a Chief Municipal Finance Officer (CMFO). Marc also served as a policy analyst for the NJ Department of Education, sat on the New Jersey League of Municipalities Legislative Committee, and served as the Bureau Chief of Neighborhood Services in the City of Elizabeth.
Mr. Dashield earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Kean University.
