Ronald Wong joined New Jersey Community Capital in April 2018 as a Community Development Lender and as of March 2020 serves as the Program Director, Economic Development. He is responsible for NJCC’s New Markets Tax Credit program and commercial real estate lending activities. Ronald’s responsibilities include generating new business development, relationship management, underwriting, and structuring loan closings.
Prior to joining NJCC, Ronald served for nearly 18 years as a Development Project Manager at The Community Builders, Inc., a non-profit community developer, working in multiple states.
He holds a Master in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Ronald is President of the Board of Trustees of the Highland Park Affordable Housing Corporation and has formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Affordable Housing Professionals of New Jersey.
