Ryan Johnson

Managing Director, Real Estate, Community Asset Preservation Corporation

Ryan Johnson joined New Jersey Community Capital in July 2020 as a Managing Director of Real Estate for Community Asset Preservation Corporation. Ryan is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, rehabilitation, sale and rental of properties across all the lines of business of CAPC in New Jersey and Florida.

Prior to joining NJCC, Ryan served as a Portfolio Manager at Madison International Realty, a global private equity real estate firm, where he oversaw all aspects of a 2.5 million square-foot retail portfolio, including: investor relations, capital markets and the development and implementation of leasing and property management strategies. He also served as a founding staff member and Senior Financial Analyst at Brick City Development under the Cory Booker Mayoral Administration, where he managed commercial real estate and small business transactions for the City of Newark.

Mr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a Concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce. He has been involved in various real estate industry organizations including ULI, NAREIT, ICSC, CURE, and REAP NYC. He is also a co-founder of the Newark Runnin Rebels Basketball Program and a founder of AAO Property Group and 361 Commission.
