Ms. Sholonda Chipepo joined New Jersey Community Capital as its Director of Human Resources in January 2019. In this position, she works closely with the senior leadership team to develop and drive people management strategies that promote an environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
Prior to joining NJCC, Ms. Chipepo served on the CEO’s senior leadership team as Vice President of Organizational Development for the Raritan Bay Area YMCA. As Vice President, she provided oversight for several departments including Human Resources, Member Services, Marketing/Communications, and Community Engagement where she developed and implemented talent management/human resources policies, plans and services. Ms. Chipepo’s experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor for Pillar College, Manager of Administration and Training for the Summit Area YMCA, Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter for the Aerosoles Corporation, and Senior Quality Assurance Specialist for Prudential Financial.
Ms. Chipepo holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Rutgers University. She is also a certified Professional in Human Resource (PHR) and Society of Human Resource Management (CP-SHRM).
