Title VI and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act

Community Loan Fund of New Jersey, Inc., d/b/a New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC), is required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section 2002d, et seq., and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) and their implementing regulations, among other civil rights statutes. Title VI provides that no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any employment or program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.  Section 504 prohibits discrimination based on disability.

NJCC does not discriminate against any person based on age, color, creed, disability, familial status, national origin, race, religion, sex or on any other basis legally prohibited by or protected by Federal or State law. We do not exclude anyone from participation in programs and services, or deny persons the benefits thereof, or subject anyone to discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
