An Affordable Homeownership Program

Creating Equitable Pathways to Homeownership

Homeownership provides a vibrant pathway to intergenerational wealth while building equity and economic security for individuals and families in underserved communities. Partnering with community-based financial institutions and counseling agencies, the Address Yourself ™ Affordable Homeownership Program equips low-to-moderate-income families and individuals with homeownership tools such as financial education, pre-purchase counseling resources in preparation for homeownership, and down payment assistance for eligible homebuyers

Who We Serve

Address Yourself ™ serves low to moderate income homebuyers in New Jersey. In partnership with community-based financial institutions large banks, counseling agencies, community developers, and housing counseling agencies, Address Yourself works to ensure that low to moderate income individuals and families are better prepared to achieve their homeownership goals

Program Highlights

  • Affordable homeownership platform for low-to-moderate-income families and individuals
  • Pre-purchase housing counseling to prepare families for homeownership
  • Administration of down payment assistance programs for eligible homebuyers
  • Referrals of mortgage opportunities to underserved populations (e.g., low-income and immigrant populations)
  • Partnerships with community-based financial institutions and counseling agencies
